Work carts, tables, and workstations: your mobile organization center
In everyday studio life, time is money, and hygiene is paramount. A high-quality work cart—often referred to as a tattoo workstation or tray—is much more than just a storage surface. It is the logistical backbone of every session. When you're in the middle of a complex piece or preparing for a piercing, every move has to be perfect. You can't afford to waste time searching for colors, needle modules, or sterile clamps.
What do you use it for? Your workstation is your sterile safety zone. This is where you place everything you need while working on a client: ink caps, spray bottles, needles, gloves, and your power supply. For piercers, specialized carts often offer flat, wide surfaces for clearly laying out sterile sets.
What should you look for when buying one? The most important criterion is the material. We use high-quality materials for our carts. Why? Because these surfaces are extremely resistant to constant exposure to harsh surface disinfectants. Porous material or cheap plastic would crack over time and could harbor germs.
Another point is mobility. Look for high-quality casters that glide quietly and can be locked in place. Nothing is more annoying than a table that rolls away when you're picking up paint. Drawers should have ball bearings and a self-closing mechanism so that they close even when you only have one hand free. Organization systems inside the drawers also help you store your materials protected from dust and sorted by size. If you value design, our black workstations with an industrial look are not only functional but also make a real statement in your studio.
